Hexapod platform for radiation measurement Print

Designed for radiation measurement in hazardous areas, the robot has state of the art sensor payload for accurate positioning and radiation measurement. This platform is presently being used by BARC for carrying out various experiments. It has 18 high torque, metal gear servo motors driving six legs (3 servos / leg). The video feed and data link provide transmission range upto 1.5 km. A state of the art GUI is used for controlling various movements and for monitoring and logging critical parameters.
