XBee Interfacing Module

Introduction

XBee interfacing module is used to interface XBee wireless module to any development board with ease because of simple relimate connection. It has onboard 3.3V low drop voltage regulator and LED indicators for RSSI, Associate and Power. Connections to RX, TX, VIN and GND of the XBee Adaptor module are available directly on the relimate. It can be directly connected to development boards via relimate connector.

Although it can support any XBee module having similar pin configuration we have used this module extensively with the following XBee modules:

Note: XBee Interfacing Module comes without XBee wireless module. You need to buy XBee wireless module separately.

Specifications

• Power: 5 to 12V DC
• LED indication: RSSI, Associate, Power
• Onboard 3.3V low drop voltage regulator for power to the XBee wireless module.
• Connections to Receive, Transmit, GND, VIN pins of the XBee wireless module are available on relimate connector.
